Job summary

Modus by PM Hotel Group in Leesburg, VA is seeking a dependable Full-Time Maintenance Technician to keep the hotel in excellent condition. You will handle preventative and reactive maintenance, working hands-on to resolve issues and ensure guest comfort.

The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience, knowledge of plumbing/electrical/carpentry/painting/HVAC, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Join a team focused on hospitality and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience preferred in hospitality, facilities or commercial buildings.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Complete minor plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, carpentry, and general repair work.
• Troubleshoot and repair guestroom equipment and hotel fixtures.
• Replace light bulbs, air filters, electrical switches, outlets, and other components.
• Inspect hotel systems and report maintenance concerns early.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies inventory.
• Communicate completed work and outstanding issues with the engineering team.
• Assist with seasonal and weather-related duties including outdoor walkway maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with guests and associates.
