Job summary

WoodSpring Suites Knoxville-West is seeking a Preventive Maintenance technician for on-site work in Knoxville, TN. The role involves performing scheduled maintenance in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas, with a focus on safety, proper use of tools, and timely reporting of issues.

Compensation is $18 per hour with full-time benefits at 60 days, including health plans, 401K and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Safety training and certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow company and department safety and security policies to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
• Report work-related accidents or injuries immediately to the manager/supervisor.
• Use proper equipment and wear PPE; follow safe lifting procedures to avoid injury.
• Handle hazardous materials per policy; use MSDS sheets.
• Identify and correct unsafe procedures or conditions and report to management.
• Operate and store tools, equipment, and machines safely.
• Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and small repairs as needed.
• Inspect rooms and public spaces; ensure equipment and appliances are in working order.
