Job summary

Hilton is hiring a Building Maintenance Assistant at Hampton Inn & Suites Glendale Westgate. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of building maintenance experience and involves shifts from 6am-2:30pm and 2pm-10pm, five days a week including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of building maintenance experience.
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building construction.
• Familiarity with common power and hand tools.
• Ability to perform task-oriented, repetitive duties accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest room maintenance requests and support property upkeep.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks and HVAC cleaning.
• Maintain grounds, landscaping, outbuildings and parking areas.
• Assist in pool, spa and general area maintenance per local codes and brand standards.
• Respond promptly to reports of guest problems and concerns.
