Job summary

The Hampton Inn & Suites Glendale Westgate, proudly managed by NCG Hospitality, is seeking a Building Maintenance Assistant with at least two years of building maintenance experience. Shifts run 6am-2:30pm and 2pm-10pm, five days per week, including weekends, offering a path for growth within a top workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of building maintenance experience.
• Ability to work 6am-2:30pm and 2pm-10pm shifts, 5 days a week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs guest room preventative maintenance duties such as painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks and HVAC cleaning
• Maintains the grounds, landscaping, outbuildings and parking areas in a clean, neat, safe and attractive manner
• Assists in maintaining pool, spa and general area of the property according to specific local codes and brand standards
• Promptly responds to reports of guest problems and concerns

How You’ll Make An Impact

What Success Looks Likes

• Prior hotel, building or apartment maintenance experience is desirable, but not necessary
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building construction
• Operation knowledge of common power and hand tools
• Ability to perform task-oriented repetitive functions consistently, on-time and error free
• Ability to be patient and creatively problem solve
