Job summary

Lodgco Hospitality manages the Courtyard by Marriott Traverse City and is seeking a Maintenance professional for on-site duties. You will address guest and staff requests, perform repairs, and help oversee preventative maintenance to ensure safe, clean facilities.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, 1–2 years of hotel experience, and a valid driver’s license. You will work under the General Manager with flexible hours and a safety-first approach.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hotel experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record – satisfactory background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all maintenance requests by guests, employees, and supervisors.
• Maintain, repair, and overhaul equipment and property; report problems to General Manager.
• Paint walls, ceilings, fixtures, building, and equipment to prevent corrosion.
• Hang wall fixtures, replace light bulbs and filters, and shampoo carpets.
• Make local deliveries and pick-ups.
• Maintain parking lot, pool, and grounds area according to established quality standards.
• Set up and complete special and ongoing projects; maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Conduct routine inspections of hotel and determine maintenance needs.
• Keep sidewalks clean and clear of debris, snow, or ice.
• Record and implement key control policies, practices, and procedures.
• Stay current on all equipment or machinery information.
