Job summary

Arbor Lodging is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of upkeep tasks in guest rooms and public areas to ensure safety and compliance for guests and staff. This position will support preventative maintenance and respond to repairs to maintain property standards.

The role requires basic maintenance knowledge, a high school diploma or GED, and a customer-service approach. Weekend and evening availability is expected as part of a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of hotel maintenance experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the basic upkeep of room and common areas by ensuring furniture, appliances, and electrical equipment are in working order.
• Organize supplies and make sure equipment is ready for the next day.
• Maintain high safety standards – follow guidelines and report hazardous conditions.
• Take responsibility for safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel (parking lot, pool).
• Keep supervisor informed and notify them of low-running supplies.
• Communicate effectively with hotel staff and maintain a professional demeanor.
