General Hotels Corporation is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to service the Fairfield Inn and Suites Jasper location in Jasper, IN. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to guest requests, and ensure all areas are safe and well-kept.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ideal candidates have HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge and can read manuals to troubleshoot issues efficiently while documenting work performed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous maintenance technician experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and friendly, professional manner.
• Inspect and maintain all guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all hotel equipment and systems.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
