General Hotels Corporation operates Crowne Plaza Union Station in downtown Indianapolis and is seeking an Overnight Maintenance Technician to service guest rooms, public areas, and equipment. The role requires flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays, ensuring the hotel remains in top condition for guests.

The ideal candidate should have strong plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge, be able to read technical manuals, and work well both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous maintenance technician experience preferred in hospitality.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and friendly, professional manner
• Inspect and maintain all guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to ensure they are in good working order
• Perform preventative maintenance on all hotel equipment and systems
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems as needed
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
