Job summary

Crystal Creek Hospitality is seeking a detailed and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to perform a wide range of repairs across hotel facilities. You will work under the Chief Engineer, ensuring the reliability of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and related systems while coordinating with other departments.

The role requires at least one year in building maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience in building maintenance.
• Experience with diagnosing problems with general repairs, carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, painting, refrigeration, electrical, video, and commercial kitchen systems.
• Certification and/or working knowledge in HVAC, refrigeration, pool operator, or electrical.
• Capable of utilizing all tools and diagnostic procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interface with guests and staff.
• Flexibility to work all shifts and overtime when needed.
• Ability to listen, empathize, and resolve potential problems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Complete general repairs across carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, painting, refrigeration, electrical, video, and kitchen systems as assigned.
• Adhere to daily work schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Perform work based on facility priorities and your capabilities.
• Attend shift meetings to communicate schedules and issues.
• Complete cross-training in facility areas as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance on all equipment as assigned.
• Communicate repair status with team and departments.
• Prioritize safety for employees, guests, and vendors.
• Attend safety meetings and support the Safety Committee.
• Assist with purchasing and inventory of department items.
• Diagnose and repair problems as needed.
• Support housekeeping with the Perfect Room Program and deep-clean projects.
• Work as part of a maintenance team to manage property assets.
• Help maintain labor and supply costs within budget.
