Home2 Suites by Choice Hotels Indianapolis is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician to preserve the property's physical integrity, guest experience, and safety. You will handle preventative maintenance, guest room repairs, and public area upkeep to ensure a flawless guest experience.

The role requires basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting skills, plus familiarity with commercial tools. A high school diploma or GED is required; certifications such as CPO, HVAC EPA, or OSHA

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on experience in building maintenance, hotel engineering, residential facilities, or related field.
• Basic proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Familiarity with commercial property tools and test equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED; preferred: CPO, HVAC EPA Certification, OSHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest room maintenance requests (TV, plumbing, locks, HVAC).
• Inspect and repair public spaces: lobbies, hallways, restrooms, meeting rooms, fitness centers, staff areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms, public spaces, and mechanical equipment.
• Clear minor plumbing stoppages, repair leaks, fixtures, and basic hardware maintenance.
• Inspect electrical fixtures, switches, outlets, and lighting for safety compliance.
