Job summary

JSK Hospitality is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join the Home2 Suites by Hilton in Mishawaka. You will perform preventative maintenance, handle repairs, and ensure guest rooms and public areas stay safe and in excellent condition.

The role requires hands-on problem solving and the ability to work flexible shifts. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of maintenance experience, basic plumbing/electrical knowledge, and the stamina to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year hands-on maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and building repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and building systems.
• Respond quickly to guest and associate maintenance requests.
• Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Troubleshoot and fix appliances, fixtures, and furniture.
• Complete room readiness checks and support housekeeping when needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order records.
• Follow all safety procedures and report potential hazards.
• Assist with grounds and exterior upkeep as needed.
• Support other departments during busy periods or special projects
