Courtyard by Marriott – Shelton, CT is seeking a reliable Hotel Maintenance Worker to help keep our property in top-notch condition. This hands-on role supports guest comfort and safety by performing routine maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, read maintenance manuals, log inspections, and respond promptly to requests from guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities management.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and safety guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on guest rooms, common areas, and hotel facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
• Conduct repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Inspect and maintain pool, fitness center, and other amenity areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, hotel standards, and Marriott brand guidelines.
• Maintain accurate logs of completed maintenance work and inspections.
