Job summary

Residence Inn Baltimore is seeking a Maintenance Person to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep to keep the property safe, clean, and fully functional for guests and team members. This hands-on role supports a busy hotel environment with a focus on quality guest experience.

You will handle routine maintenance in guest rooms and public areas, respond to requests promptly, and assist with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of basic maintenance tasks across areas such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC or carpentry.
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable and safety minded with ability to work in a team.
• Ability to lift, move, climb, and use common hand tools.
• Flexible to work various days, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance and repair tasks in guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Maintain tools, storage areas, and workspaces in a clean and organized condition.
• Support the maintenance team with projects and assigned duties.
