Residence Inn by Marriott Salisbury, MD is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance to meet quality standards and guest service expectations.

You will inspect rooms, repair walls, paint, handle electrical fixtures, plumbing, and HVAC-related tasks while adhering to safety codes and sustainability goals. The role requires flexible scheduling, including weekends or holidays, and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and related trade training preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair wall coverings and paint designated areas.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures and switches.
• Repair furniture and repair kitchen equipment.
• Perform minor plumbing functions and service water lines.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Follow local, state and Federal codes and safety guidelines.
• Support guest satisfaction goals and assist during peak periods.
