Job summary

Fairmont Dallas is seeking a House Engineer/General Maintenance Supervisor to oversee engineering operations and maintain refrigeration and HVAC equipment in accordance with hotel standards. You will participate in preventive maintenance across all areas, train team members, coordinate with housekeeping and front office, and ensure compliance with health and safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Engineering operations and responsible for the repairs, maintenance, upkeep and replacement of refrigeration and HVAC equipment, in accordance with hotel standards and codes.
• Participate in the preventive maintenance program of all building equipment, guestrooms, meeting rooms, ballrooms, and all hotel areas.
• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and procedures and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Understand and operate systems including electrical distribution, fire/life safety, emergency generator, central plant, and building HVAC components.
• Schedule work within the preventive maintenance program coordinating with department heads.
• Train and coach team members and assist in the creation of training tasks.
