Job summary

Fairmont Dallas seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support hotel operations and maintenance across the property. You will maintain equipment, adhere to safety standards, and respond to guest requests while ensuring cleanliness and timely upkeep.

The role requires strong English communication, a background in general maintenance, and the ability to work as part of a team in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• Certification or completion of seminars for specialized training.
• Previous experience in general maintenance.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of policies/procedures and standards.
• Understand maintenance systems and equipment used hotel-wide.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly.
• Maintain guest relations and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect and maintain cleaning, safety, and organization of work areas.
• Review work orders, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with supervisors.
• Organize materials, tools and equipment for daily tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document results.
