Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician to maintain the property, equipment, guest rooms, and public areas in safe condition.

The role responds to maintenance requests, performs preventive maintenance, and supports compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include inspecting areas for issues, completing work orders, and assisting with preventive maintenance programs and life-safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic maintenance problems.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Good communication and guest-service skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts.
• Licenses or certifications must be maintained when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time and begin work at scheduled start time.
• Maintain attendance in accordance with procedures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas for issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on rooms, equipment, fixtures, and systems.
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and timely.
• Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, electrical components, lighting, doors, locks, furniture as qualified.
• Inspect HVAC/PTAC units and report issues.
• Check and maintain water systems, toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
• Replace bulbs, batteries, filters, and detector batteries.
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance.
