Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts invites applications for a Maintenance Representative at EVEN Hotels in Seattle. The role focuses on repairing and refurbishing hotel items, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and following a preventative maintenance calendar to improve guest experiences.

The position requires 1+ year maintenance experience, a high school diploma or vocational training, familiarity with building management tools, basic plumbing/electrical skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance or repair experience.
• High school diploma or related vocational training.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, building management software, and reporting tools HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, or Inncom.
• Basic plumbing, electrical knowledge, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• CPO certification preferred if the hotel has a pool.
• Able to stand for long periods; physical fitness.
• Must be legally eligible to work and fluent in the local language.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Repairing, replacing and refurbishing items around the hotel.
• Maintaining safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside of the hotel.
• Following the preventative maintenance calendar and seeking improvements.
• Keeping supervisor/duty manager informed about supply levels.
• Being ready to take on extra duties when the team needs you.
