Job summary

Lodgco Hospitality is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician for Hampton Inn & Suites Grand Rapids Downtown to support the Maintenance Lead and ensure seamless hotel operations while delivering a safe guest experience.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, maintaining and repairing equipment, painting, fixture maintenance, and assisting with guest shuttle and public areas. A valid driver’s license is required; hotel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Some maintenance experience preferred.
• Hotel experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance work orders by guests, employees, and supervisors.
• Maintain, repair, and overhaul equipment and property; report problems to General Manager.
• Paint walls, ceilings, fixtures, and equipment to prevent corrosion.
• Hang wall fixtures, replace light bulbs and filters, and shampoo carpets.
• Make local deliveries and pick-ups.
• Walk the property—interior and exterior, every morning and evening.
• Maintain parking lot, pool, and grounds area to established standards.
• Conduct preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Set up and complete projects with Maintenance Lead; maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Daily inspections to determine maintenance needs.
