Comfort Suites Fredericksburg North is seeking an experienced Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the safety and cleanliness of our property. The role demands a dependable and knowledgeable individual to perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and indoor pool upkeep.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of hotel maintenance experience and strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs. Reliable transportation and the ability to respond to emergency situations are essential. We offer a dynamic work environment where attention to detail is key.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hotel maintenance experience required.
• Experience with indoor pool maintenance required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general repairs.
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
• CPO certification preferred, but strong pool maintenance experience will be considered.
• Physically able to lift, bend, and climb ladders.
• Reliable transportation and availability for emergency maintenance situations.

Responsibilities

• General hotel maintenance and repairs.
• Preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
• Indoor pool maintenance, including cleaning and chemical testing.
• Responding to guest room maintenance requests.
• Maintaining maintenance logs and completing work orders.
• Exterior property maintenance and parking lot checks.
• Identifying maintenance concerns before they become guest issues.
