Job summary

Thind Management is seeking a motivated hotel maintenance technician to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functioning and appearance of the hotel’s physical facilities. The role includes handling routine maintenance and urgent repairs to maintain a safe, comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, timely repairs, safety compliance, and coordinating with other departments to minimize guest disruption.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and building codes preferred.
• Physically able to work from ladders, move furniture, operate cleaning equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests from hotel departments and address issues promptly.
• Inspect and maintain fire safety equipment and emergency lighting.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and appliances; perform painting and carpentry as needed.
• Document maintenance activities and keep records up to date.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk to minimize guest disruptions.
