Job summary

Must have open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays, with strong guest-relations focus and teamwork to support the Chief Engineer and hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year(s) experience as a general maintenance engineer.
• Fluency in job related English, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Compute mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers).
• Working knowledge of electrical, air conditioning, supplies and equipment.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling and disposal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Schedule work in accordance with the preventive maintenance program and coordinate with supervisors.
• Perform electrical work orders: replace light switches, reset circuit breakers, replace wall plug receptacles.
• Assist other engineering personnel in routine and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and inventory management.
