Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead onsite maintenance across our Irvine property. You will oversee 1–2 technicians, manage daily operations, and ensure safety and asset protection while aligning with guest satisfaction goals.

The role requires vocational training with 2+ years in building maintenance, plus certifications. Strong HVAC, plumbing and electrical skills, and budgeting capability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Advanced vocational training plus two years in building maintenance or construction.
• Professional certification and legal license required.
• Experience in extended stay or large-scale facilities is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite maintenance of building, equipment and grounds for the hotel.
• Supervise 1–2 maintenance workers and coordinate with the General Manager.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and more.
• Maintain safety, inventory, and asset protection; manage van and tools.
• Prepare and manage department budget input and cost controls.
