Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Tech to ensure the hotel’s physical plant meets quality and safety standards. You will maintain and repair building systems, perform preventative maintenance, and support guests and team members in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The role requires knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electricity, and equipment mechanics, plus two years of relevant experience and English fluency. On-site work with flexible hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced vocational training plus two years of maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electricity, and equipment mechanics.
• Ability to read and write fluent English and read equipment manuals including safety information.
• Math skills including budgeting, percentages, and variances.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta service standards in all guest interactions.
• Report hazards and manage safety concerns for guests and assets.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on building systems and hotel equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and monitor HVAC, lighting, and access controls.
