Job summary

First Hospitality seeks a Hotel Maintenance Manager for Homewood Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Downtown. You will lead the engineering department, oversee preventive maintenance, and ensure guest comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical and/or plumbing certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain building structure, systems, and equipment through preventative and routine maintenance.
• Coordinate grounds and custodial work as needed.
• Operate tools and power equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform repairs including plumbing, painting, carpentry, sheetrock, and electrical work.
• Prioritize maintenance to minimize guest disruption.
• Communicate with hotel departments for timely maintenance responses.
• Address guest concerns and relay issues to relevant departments.
• Maintain professionalism aligned with hotel brand and standards.
• Train and support the hotel’s engineering team.
• Communicate emergency procedures and assist guests during emergencies.
• Log and balance house bank if applicable.
