Job summary

InnVentures is seeking a Chief of Maintenance for Hotel Indigo Savannah Historic District in Georgia. You will lead the maintenance staff, oversee daily operations and safety programs, and ensure high standards of upkeep across hotels.

The role involves hands-on repairs, scheduling, budgeting, and guest-focused service to maintain comfort and safety for guests. Requirements include 3+ years in facilities management in hospitality or a related field, or a 2-year degree with management experience.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of progressive facilities management experience in a hotel or related field; or a 2-year college degree with 1 year of related management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations and general maintenance skills required.
• Heavy work – ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, motivate, counsel and recognize the maintenance staff at each hotel.
• Oversee daily operations, sustainability programs, inventory, ordering, and scheduling within a department budget.
• Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance; inspect work to ensure quality and standards.
• Troubleshoot technical devices such as key card systems, internet equipment, and TV equipment.
• Oversee safety programs and key control; greet guests and build loyalty through service.
