Job summary

InnVentures IVI LP, at Hotel Indigo Savannah Historic District in Savannah, GA, seeks a Chief of Maintenance to lead the maintenance team and ensure guest safety and comfort. You will drive repairs, preventative maintenance, and sustainability initiatives across hotels.

The role requires 3+ years in facilities management within hotels, strong HVAC/electrical/plumbing skills, and the ability to manage budgets and staff while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive facilities management experience in hotels or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations and general maintenance skills required.
• Long hours and heavy lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Must communicate effectively with staff and guests.
• Able to multitask and prioritize department functions.
• Maintain professional appearance and follow InnVentures standards.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, and motivate maintenance staff.
• Oversee daily operations, budgets, inventory, and scheduling.
• Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance across hotel facilities.
• Troubleshoot key card systems, internet, TV equipment.
• Oversee safety programs and key control.
• Greet guests and assist with requests, building guest loyalty.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet hotel goals.
