Job summary

Cabazon Hampton Inn and Home2 Suites by Hilton is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs, preventive maintenance, and daily operations at the Cabazon location. The role requires hands-on experience with hotel facilities, plumbing, and electrical systems, and includes on-call duties to support guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1+ year of hotel maintenance experience and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1+ year of hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Passionate about hospitality and guest experience.
• Ability to perform Daily Maintenance Engineer Checklist.
• Ability to maintain plumbing and electrical systems and replace worn parts.
• Identify and report needed repairs to parking lot and sidewalks.

Responsibilities

• Handle equipment repairs, gather bids, and coordinate with regional leadership.
• Submit warranty submittals to corporate maintenance staff.
• Manage maintenance inventory and supply orders.
• Conduct room PMs with maintenance staff and ensure quarterly completion.
• Track room PMs and oversee two hotels; cover daily maintenance duties when needed.
• Be on-call for after-hours emergencies; ensure QA condition scores meet standards.
• Oversee houseman and train new maintenance personnel.
• Complete larger special projects as assigned.
