Comfort Suites Chesapeake, part of Landmark Hotel Group, seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee daily maintenance duties and lead the maintenance team in delivering clean, safe, and efficient hotel operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on electrical, plumbing, HVAC and preventive maintenance, with a focus on guest satisfaction, cost control, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Flexible schedule required to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

• Three years experience in a hotel or commercial setting.
• Journeyperson in electrical, mechanical, plumbing or HVAC.
• Budgeting and expense control experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily work assignments from Chief Engineer and review priorities and special projects.
• Active management in the supervision of all work and repairs being performed.
• Organize materials, tools and equipment to perform daily assignments
• Complete responsibility for maintaining the hotel's appearance, equipment and systems.
• This is a hands on position that requires active, vigorous leadership.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, preventative maintenance to guest rooms and public area work orders.
• Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces according to hotel requirements.
