Job summary

Residence Inn Providence Lincoln is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep hotel equipment running and facilities in top condition. You will perform repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, performing carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and assisting with equipment upkeep. You will maintain records, support other departments, and ensure safety and cleanliness per regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; two years of college or vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering or plumbing preferred.
• Specialization in technical crafts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly.
• Ability to work independently or in teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs in and around the hotel including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and masonry.
• Maintain preventative maintenance logs and record maintenance activities.
• Replace worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in small machines and equipment.
• Assist other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, storage areas, and parking lot.
• May operate snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
• Maintain and service pool and spa areas per State and City regulations.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints timely and escalates to management when necessary.
