Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Utility team member to keep hotel operations running smoothly. You will repair and refurbish items, follow the preventative maintenance calendar, and monitor supplies while ensuring safety in and around the property.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in maintenance, a high school diploma or vocational training, and familiarity with MS Office and building management/reporting tools.

Qualifications

• You’ll have at least one year of maintenance or repair work.
• A high school diploma or related vocational training.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, a building management program, and reporting tools like HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, or Inncom.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing and electrics, plus preventative maintenance procedures.
• CPO certification is ideal if the hotel has a pool.
• A reasonable level of fitness to be on your feet and move around.
• Fluent in the local language with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repairing, replacing and refurbishing items around the hotel as needed.
• Maintaining safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel.
• Following the preventative maintenance calendar and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Keeping supervisor informed about supply levels and equipment status.
• Willing to take on extra duties as the team requires.
