HHM Hotels is seeking an Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance across hotel facilities, ensuring quality and sustainability standards while delivering warm guest service. The role involves inspections, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and equipment servicing.

The candidate will maintain records, comply with codes, and strive to improve guest satisfaction. Flexibility for varied shifts and duties is required, with opportunities for growth through a structured career path.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and trade school coursework preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, lights and fixtures.
• Repair furniture and fixtures.
• Install, replace and program televisions.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Perform work to local, state and Federal codes.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing guest satisfaction.
• Follow Service Recovery Guidelines.
• Practice safe work habits and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards.
