Job summary

Residence Inn Indianapolis Northwest is seeking a Part-Time Engineer/Maintenance team member for Sundays and Mondays. You will respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and uphold safety standards to ensure a clean, safe hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Listening to, understanding, clarifying and resolving concerns and issues is essential.
• Excellent communication and guest service orientation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and document completion.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance and keep PM program on schedule.
• Follow safety measures and health codes; report emergencies to supervisor/GM.
• Conduct full property walks at shift start/end and note repair needs.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized throughout shift.
