Job summary

HOTEL SAINT LOUIS is seeking a maintenance technician in Saint Louis, MO. This role performs routine and preventative maintenance on apartment units, common areas, and building systems to keep the property safe and functional.

You will diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance issues while completing work orders promptly and professionally. Responsibilities include unit turnover, painting, cleaning, and minor repairs; grounds upkeep; safety compliance; and

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott processes and standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on apartment units, common areas, and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance issues.
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with turnover of units, including painting, cleaning, and small repairs.
• Maintain grounds, including snow removal, lawn care, trash collection, and exterior upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and follow-up needs.
• Collaborate with leasing and management staff to provide outstanding resident service.
