Job summary

Seven Gables Inn in Saint Louis, MO seeks a Maintenance Technician to uphold safety, appearance, and functionality of the property. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance issues, and assist with unit turnovers.

Responsibilities include completing work orders promptly, maintaining grounds, and complying with safety and codes. A valid driver’s license, teamwork, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Must have a valid Drivers Licence.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on apartment units, common areas, and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance issues.
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with turnover of units, including painting, cleaning, and small repairs to prepare for new residents.
• Maintain grounds, including snow removal, lawn care, trash collection, and exterior upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and follow-up needs.
• Collaborate with leasing and management staff to provide outstanding resident service.
