Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Downtown Saint Louis to sustain safety, appearance, and functionality of an apartment community.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliances, and assist with unit turnovers while coordinating with leasing and management staff. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, the ability to work in a team, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Marriott processes and standards preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on apartments, common areas and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance issues.
• Complete work orders in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist with unit turnover, painting, cleaning and minor repairs for new residents.
• Maintain grounds, snow removal, lawn care, trash collection and exterior upkeep.
• Ensure safety regulations and building codes are followed.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests.
• Maintain records of work performed, parts used and follow-up needs.
• Collaborate with leasing and management staff to provide outstanding resident service.
