Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is hiring a facilities and maintenance technician to support a downtown Jacksonville hotel. The role includes maintaining building systems, completing preventative maintenance, and ensuring guest comfort and safety.

You will inspect electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other equipment, perform minor repairs, and help refurbish rooms and public spaces. The position requires physical work and strong teamwork in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry experience required (1+ areas).
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all building related systems and building envelope for safety and energy efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders for hotel systems and fixtures.
• Inspect electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and related equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Maintain pool, exterior grounds, and interior furnishings; refurbish as needed.
• Respond to guest questions and requests to ensure satisfaction.
