Job summary

Hyatt Regency Jacksonville is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to handle general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front-of-house areas, with preventative work in guest rooms and public spaces.

A minimum of 3 years hotel maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting, and good communication are required. Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays. This full-time position offers opportunities within Hyatt's global hospitality network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of building maintenance experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Good customer service skills required.
• Able to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and climb.
• Must have physical stamina to lift, push and pull moderate weights.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front-of-house areas.
• Conduct guest room and public area preventative maintenance.
• Repair mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment as needed.
• Maintain building and equipment and provide shift coverage.
