Job summary

Hampton Inn Tropicana Las Vegas is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other hotel systems. You will troubleshoot and fix issues, keep equipment in safe, reliable condition, and follow safety procedures.

Strong knowledge of maintenance trades, basic tools, and ability to communicate with guests and team members is required. High school diploma preferred. This is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Familiarity with basic hand and electrical tools and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hotel facilities and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or incidents to management.
• Assist engineering team and communicate with guests and staff as needed.
