Job summary

Hampton Inn Tropicana Las Vegas is seeking a maintenance technician to support the hotel in Las Vegas, NV. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems across the property.

Responsibilities include completing preventive maintenance, maintaining facilities and guest areas, and promptly reporting hazards. Strong safety awareness and ability to follow PPE procedures are required, with collaboration across the Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all maintenance trades including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Able to recognize safety hazards and security problems and act accordingly.
• Willing to comply with hotel policies including safety, PPE and key control.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions in hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems throughout the hotel.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and assigned work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain hotel facilities, equipment, and guest areas to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Follow all company safety, security, emergency response, and PPE procedures.
• Assist Engineering team members as needed and report accidents, hazards, property damage, or unsafe conditions to management.
