Job summary
Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa, owned by Evans Hotels, is hiring a General Maintenance Engineer II to support guest spaces and back‑of‑house systems. The role focuses on plumbing, electrical, and equipment repair with strong recordkeeping and client service.
Candidates should have HVAC experience and multiple years of hotel maintenance work, with weekend/holiday availability and willingness to perform a range of technical tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of technical training in maintenance or related fields.
- At least 4 years of relevant hotel maintenance experience is preferred.
- HVAC experience is a plus and highly valued.
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC-R, and kitchen equipment preferred.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned maintenance tasks promptly and document work; order parts with management approval.
- Coordinate with Engineering leadership to schedule tasks with minimal guest disruption.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems to restore operation.
- Maintain maintenance logs accurately and report task status from start to finish.
- Take on additional duties as directed by leadership.
