Job summary

Evans Hotels LLC is recruiting a General Maintenance Engineer II for Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa in San Diego. The role focuses on plumbing, electrical, and equipment repairs, with strong emphasis on maintaining guest spaces and meeting spaces.

You will document tasks, coordinate with engineering, and ensure timely completion while delivering excellent guest service. The position requires at least 4 years of relevant experience, 2 years of technical training, and HVAC familiarity.

Qualifications

• 2 years technical training is required.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Strong HVAC experience a plus.
• Previous similar hotel maintenance role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks in a timely fashion.
• Identify necessary parts and order with management approval.
• Notify engineering management of delivery dates and delays.
• Schedule work with Engineering to minimize impact on operations and guests.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain maintenance logs accurately and timely.
• Report progress to engineering management from start to finish.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
