Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to care for building systems and guest rooms at our property. You will perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and routine inspections to ensure safety and comfort for guests and associates.

The role requires experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, with physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs and follow directions. Hotel experience is preferred, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling, military training, certification and/or experience in building trades (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry).
• Hotel maintenance experience is preferred.
• Climbing, standing, lifting 25–50 lbs; able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all building related systems and the building envelope to ensure guest and employee safety.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, codes, and company culture.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair hotel equipment (HVAC, lighting, plumbing, boilers, pool equipment).
• Service pool (chemicals, filtration) and manage logs.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms; move furnishings as needed.
• Respond professionally to guest questions and requests to maintain satisfaction.
