Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking an enthusiastic Engineer II to maintain hotel facilities and ensure safety, reliability, and guest satisfaction. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems, and collaborate with the Engineering Team on larger projects.

You will work independently on routine tasks while supporting the team on more complex assignments, including energy management and life-safety system monitoring.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on maintenance/engineering in hospitality or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment.
• Excellent communication skills; able to work with other departments and guests.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other mechanical systems.
• Replace electrical switches and outlets; program TVs as needed.
• Monitor fire alarm and life safety systems; respond to emergencies.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and energy use, identifying saving opportunities.
• Log readings from meters and maintain daily activity records.
• Provide technical advice and training to other engineers as needed.
