Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts seeks a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and respond to service calls in our Tampa property. You will uphold brand standards and comply with safety regulations while ensuring guest comfort.

Responsibilities include inspecting systems, fixing leaks, coordinating with various departments, and delivering professional guest service. Must be physically able for routine skilled labor and work in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; safety aware.
• Physically able to lift 50–100 lbs and perform demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems regularly.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and coordinate with departments.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Communicate maintenance activities with housekeeping and front desk.
