Job summary

TPG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Engineer to perform interior and external preventative maintenance and basic repairs in a hotel setting. You will respond to engineering service calls, coordinate with hotel departments, and ensure guest safety and comfort through proactive maintenance.

The role emphasizes routine inspections of critical systems (M/E/P/HVAC), prompt emergency response, and strong customer service during interactions with guests in guest rooms or public areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities management is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and solve problems.
• Physical fitness for lifting and operating equipment.
• Excellent communication and guest service orientation.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to identify issues.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including fixing leaks and replacing faulty components.
• Respond to engineering service calls and emergencies; report issues to management.
• Ensure all building systems are operational and compliant with safety regulations.
• Address maintenance requests from guests and interact professionally in guest areas.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and safety guidelines.
