Job summary

TPG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Hotel Engineer to perform interior and external preventative maintenance and basic repairs across guest rooms and public areas. You will respond to service calls, inspect systems, and keep operations running smoothly.

You’ll work with housekeeping and front desk, ensure safety and compliance, handle emergency responses, and deliver courteous guest service while maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities management advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to identify issues.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including fixing leaks, replacing faulty components, and troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Ensure all building systems are operational and comply with safety regulations.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations to ensure guest and staff safety.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance and minimize guest disruption.
• Address guest maintenance requests and interact professionally with guests.
