Job summary

Tb Isle Resort Lp is seeking an Engineer I for JW Marriott Turnberry Miami Resort & Spa in Aventura, FL. The role covers general repairs, preventative maintenance, and supporting Engineering management to achieve hotel goals.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in hotel maintenance, knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and electrical, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A valid driver’s license is required for golf-cart operations on property.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in hotel or related industry
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and electrical
• Knowledge of hotel fire standards and procedures
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work from ladders and handle heavy materials
• Valid driver’s license for golf cart operation on property

Responsibilities

• Perform highly complex repairs of the physical property, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Repair hotel guest rooms under the Preventative Maintenance program.
• Report broken or misused equipment to Engineering Manager or Director.
• Ensure that all safety systems are operable.
• Follow Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Parts Inventory – assist in maintaining inventory of department supplies.
• Assist in maintaining the department’s inventory by reporting needed supplies.
• Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets and proper handling of materials.
• Record daily tasks, including P.M., for tracking maintenance tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
