AC Hotel Miami Wynwood is seeking an Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance across guest rooms and public areas, ensuring conformity with quality and sustainability standards. The role involves inspecting rooms, installing and repairing electrical fixtures, plumbing, and HVAC components, and maintaining records.

You will work to improve guest satisfaction, follow safety guidelines, and may assist as a bell attendant during staffing shortages or peak check-ins/outs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Trade school coursework in related field preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance to meet quality and sustainability standards.
• Inspect rooms and identify repair needs; repair sheetrock, walls, and furniture.
• Install/repair electrical fixtures and basic plumbing; service heating/cooling pumps and water lines.
• Troubleshoot kitchen equipment; maintain maintenance records; ensure code compliance.
• Support guest satisfaction goals and assist during peak periods as needed.
