Job summary

Remington Hotels is seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to operate central HVAC and mechanical systems, including electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment, in a hotel environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

The role requires experience with hotel engineering, ability to read blueprints, and strong communication. You will train junior engineers and respond to calls as priorities, maintaining thorough logs and MSDS

Qualifications

Experience with hotel engineering including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building construction.
Vocational training or degree and relevant certifications where required.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate central HVAC and mechanical systems safely according to procedures.
Repair and maintain kitchen, laundry, refrigeration, boiler and plumbing systems.
Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic problems quickly and cost-effectively.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on an ongoing basis.
Maintain fire safety equipment and emergency procedures.
Respond to HVAC or room calls as a priority and document logs.
Provide training to other team members and follow MSDS guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
